RTBのことを調べると、DSPのbitのあと、最も高いbitを提示したDSPが、次に高く提示されたbit+1円(単位は違うかもしれないが)額でimpを購入するとある。
Auction theoryから、
second price systemでは、自分が認めた価値の価格をそのままbitすることが、オークションの成果を最大限にする戦略であるため、らしい。
証明 (背理法 bi>si, bi<siを否定して、bi=si)
suppose i admits the value si and bids bi>si. write B be the highest bit from others.
there are three possible cases.
1 B>bi, si in this case i would have done equally with bidding si
2 bi>B>si
3 bi,si>B in this case i would have done equally with bidding si
in case 2, she will have to pay B>si, which won't happen if she bids si.
if bi<si, then similarly 1&3 gives the same outcomes,
2 now becomes si>B>bi. then i cannot buy, even though she could if she bid si.
もしfirst priceならば、1,3の時も状況が変わってきてしまうから、これは成り立たない。(siのままで参加すれば、利益はかならず0になる)
上の証明では、全てのプレイヤーが合理的に自分の利益を最大化することを前提としているが、
現実には、RTBが頻繁に行われていることや、予算の問題などから、必ずしもこの仮定が正しいとは限らない。
そこで、統計的に分布などをもろもろ考えて・・・などといろいろ作戦を練る隙が出てくる(笑)
